I'll leave out the talk about selling it at cost ($3000) and how there thought is it could be as big as the iPad or Apple Watch markets.

It's not that there's no market for AR/VR. It's not that $3000 is a problem IN THOSE MARKETS. It's just that the market is, for Apple, tiny. This will be a Newton-esque failure. 

And this goes straight to Tim Cook not being a creative guy. He's an operations guy. Apple had done nothing but live off the fat of it's Steve Jobs era. Maybe throw Ive in there too. 

Apple has again gone from an innovation company to a tech company that just sells overpriced hardware to masses who don't know better.

Looking at my history of political prognostication, I think it is fair to say I am terrible at it. But why let something like that get it my way?

I think the working idea for impeachment of Trump is to have the investigation go on through much of 2020 culminating in his impeachment by the House at a point in time that makes it impossible for the Senate to conduct a trial before the election.

This time frame could be sped up if public opinion turns drastically against Trump (ha!) or slowed if the crass politics turns against the Dems (haha!).

Of all things, I was buying a new car battery, which they handily keep at the back of the store. I lug the thing to the self checkout line and I'm standing behind this guy. He has a cart.
