Can anyone tell me the name of the tree (or bush or whatever plant it is), currently in bloom (I think) that smells like ass? And along the same lines, why on earth would anyone plant such a horror?

How about a Ginko tree? According to Wikipedia, it smells like "rancid butter." It's the female ones that smell.
If you've got a bush that smell like ass, doesn't that just mean she's wiping the wrong way?
